Mamanuka is a Berlin baby sling, which is produced in India, but also found its origin there as an idea. Stephanie & Stefanie the two women behind Mamanuka love the country and have a soft spot for high-quality textiles.
This gave rise to the idea for a baby sling made of vegetable dyes. Dyed with pomegranate, turmeric, madder, catechu and many other plants, these slings are something special. They are soft and cozy, but also grippy and great to tie. They are not only great for newborns, but also multi-ply for older children. We love the soft colors and the color change in the cloth.
The cloths are all hand woven in cross twill or diamond weave. They are made from 100% organic cotton.
